The Office for Public Engagement supports the University's Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center (UROC) and The Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA), which have several upcoming opportunities to connect faculty with community-engaged research:
UROC offers a unique setting, as well as a scholarly support system, for University faculty and researchers looking to connect their work with North Minneapolis residents in authentic partnerships. Learn how UROC could be the perfect fit for an engaged research project at one of two special tour/lunch events.
CURA invites proposals for their Faculty Interactive Research Program. This program supports interactive public policy research between University of Minnesota faculty and community organizations or government agencies in Minnesota with up to $45,000 in funding per award. Learn more and apply by March 16.
