The Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs holds annual workshops to prepare faculty for the promotion and tenure process. The first workshop, offered in the winter, is for probationary tenure-track faculty seeking tenure and promotion to associate professor. The second workshop, offered in the spring, is for associate professors seeking promotion to full professor. Conducted by Vice Provost Rebecca Ropers-Huilman, these workshops include a review of the process from the departmental, collegiate, and central administration perspectives and important information for preparing promotion dossiers.
Our next workshop for assistant professors will be Monday, December 19, 2016, from 3:00-4:30 pm in 35 Nicholson Hall. Faculty will be invited via email leading up to the event.
